He started his business as a mortgage lender helping his teammates (and opponents) on the Ultimate Frisbee field achieve home ownership. As word got around that Jim was reliable, trustworthy, and had great rates, his referrals grew in the community and expanded outward. Today, Jim and his team provide mortgage solutions to everyone, but you can still find him on the frisbee field laying out for discs.
Our branch at Guaranteed Rate Affinity is called the Ultimate Lending Team as a nod to our frisbee heritage, but also because we’re more than a lender, we’re a teammate. After growing up on the east coast and graduating with a Marketing degree from the College of William & Mary, Andrew followed his skis to Colorado. 16 years later, Denver is definitely home! Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and two children playing in the mountains, volunteering in Denver, at Red Rocks for a show or downtown for a game. You may also see him competing out on an ultimate frisbee field trying to get one more national championship before he gets too old and retires to the road bike full time.
Andrew brings his many years of small business expertise to help grow the Ultimate Lending Team in 2022. With a love of hospitality and a passion for helping educate we are excited to focus his skills and energy on the mortgage industry. We want to help all of our clients and our teammates find success through home ownership and building equity, while living our best life along the way.
